Members: Brian May (lead guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals).
Past members: Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), John Deacon (bass guitar).

Queen had influences of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, T-rex and Roxy Music.
   
Career:
Queen are a British rock band. Before forming Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor had played together in a band named "SMILE". Freddie Mercury was a fan of "SMILE". Mercury joined the band in 1970. suggested "Queen" as a new band name, and adopted his familiar stage name, "Queen". Queen first charted in the UK with their second album, Queen II, in 1974, but it was the release of "Sheer Heart Attack" and "A night at the Opera" in 1975, etc.
The band has released a total of 18 number-one albums, 18 number-one singles, and 10 number-one DVDs. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

Curiosities:  
-The logo of Queen: the lions stand for Roger Taylor and John Deacon. The zodiac sign is leo. The crab is Brian May, he is Cancer. The fairies are Freddie Mercury and the phoenix represents the idea that the group is inmmortal.
 -"Stone Cold Crazy" was the first song written by Freddie.
-Brian played the guitar when he was a child. 
-In Boston City says 23rd July of 1982 is the day of Queen.
-Freddie Mercury wasn't his real name. His real name was Farrokh Bulsara.

It's a British band founder in April 1962 and the components are Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Ian Stewart and Charlie Watts, after joined Mick Taylor and Darryl Jones.
They're  considered big influences in contemporary rock.
In 1989 they joined at Hall of Fame of Rock and Roll and they were placed at number 4 of the list of 50 best artists of all time.
They played other genres like blues, country or punk too.
Nowadays, the band has released 25 studio albums and 32 singles among 10 more popular in UK. The total sales of The Rolling Stones are about 200 and 250 million of CDs. So they have became most successful singers in all times.

The logo of the Rolling Stones appeared for the first time in their first album called "Sticky Fingers"

 Nowadays women wear dresses and high heels.
 Men wear jeans and waist coats. For example this woman on the right of the photo is wearing a short yellow dress and white high heels.

 In the 1930's, people used to wear clothes very different from the once we wear now. Women used to dress with long dresses and pearl necklaces. Moreover, they used to have short hair. Men use to wear suits, waistcoats, neckties and smart shoes.
 The woman in white was wearing a white T-shirt, beige smart trousers, a cardigan and a fine necklace.
