Members: Brian May (lead guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals).
Past members: Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), John Deacon (bass guitar).

Queen had influences of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, T-rex and Roxy Music.
   
Career:
Queen are a British rock band. Before forming Queen, Brian May and Roger Taylor had played together in a band named "SMILE". Freddie Mercury was a fan of "SMILE". Mercury joined the band in 1970. suggested "Queen" as a new band name, and adopted his familiar stage name, "Queen". Queen first charted in the UK with their second album, Queen II, in 1974, but it was the release of "Sheer Heart Attack" and "A night at the Opera" in 1975, etc.
The band has released a total of 18 number-one albums, 18 number-one singles, and 10 number-one DVDs. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

Curiosities:  
-The logo of Queen: the lions stand for Roger Taylor and John Deacon. The zodiac sign is leo. The crab is Brian May, he is Cancer. The fairies are Freddie Mercury and the phoenix represents the idea that the group is inmmortal.
 -"Stone Cold Crazy" was the first song written by Freddie.
-Brian played the guitar when he was a child. 
-In Boston City says 23rd July of 1982 is the day of Queen.
-Freddie Mercury wasn't his real name. His real name was Farrokh Bulsara.
